Can Podiatric Acupuncture Help You?

Podiatric Acupuncture to relieve foot pain

My employer at the time insisted on me training in this skill. So off I went train in acupuncture & boy did I love it! Receiving it, made me laugh outrageously and sweat. During the training, I asked the medical doctor (who was training us) to treat me for menstrual pain, instantaneously the pain was gone – WOW!! The sceptic in me was long gone and I became a firm believer in its benefits and results.

Those of you who know me, know how enthusiastic I am about feet, podiatry and making a difference – acupuncture is no exception. I have used acupuncture over the past eight years to treat a range of podiatric medical needs.

Simply, podiatric acupuncture is a therapy that involves inserting very thin and fine needles into specific points in the lower limbs. The needles stimulate the release of natural hormones which act as painkillers and help to relieve symptoms. It is intended to treat and prevent podiatric medical conditions. Thus, promotion of foot health and well-being.

Podiatric acupuncture is definitely a therapeutic treatment to be considered in conjunction with other podiatric treatments to help lower limb pain, neurological and or circulatory conditions. It is safe, little or no side effects, virtually painless (a mild prick only as needle goes in), it stimulates the body to help heal itself.

So, to sum up, this blog, I am a raving mad fan of acupuncture. Does it work YES, YES & YES AGAIN! The results we have had in the clinic have been breathtaking, and honestly, I feel so humble and grateful to have the skills to relieve and cure foot pain. And, ultimately, improve and cure your complaints. If you are reading this and still unsure if podiatric acupuncture will help you, give the team a call and we would be delighted to discuss your needs with you.

Until next time,
Margaret
