Sports injuries can be painful, frustrating and may eventually compromise your performance. Even the simple act of running can increase the pressure on your feet by three or four times your own body weight. The twisting, jumping and physical collisions common in many sports place even higher stresses on your lower limbs and feet.

We understand that there is nothing more frustrating to anyone who enjoys sports than being forced to stop participating and lose fitness.

All too often sports people ignore their pain and discomfort only to find it deteriorates and becomes long-lasting, which can result in a loss of function. Very often, pre-exercise and the correct rehabilitation programme is vital for a prompt return to sport.

We can also help detect underlying causes of sports injuries using video gait analysis.

We are experts in treating all foot and ankle sports injuries such as achilles tendinopathy, metatarsalgia and overpronation.
