Frequently Asked Questions

No, you can come to us directly.

Please complete your Consent form that was sent to you by text message at the time of booking before your appointment.

We are unable to start treatment without your completed form. If you are unable to access this form, please arrive 10 mins before your appointment and our reception team will be able to assist.

Upon arrival, you will be greeted by a member of our patient care team, who will confirm your personal details and consent for treatment.

You will leave your initial consultation with a treatment plan detailing what condition you have, what is causing it and what we can do to resolve it.

This varies depending on the type of appointment. For example, if you are booked for a condition consultation, you only need a list of any medication you are currently taking.

If instead, you’re booked for a biomechanical assessment or gait analysis, we advise that you wear the footwear you are most active in and/or the footwear you spend most of your time in. It is also recommended that you bring comfortable clothing (t-shirt, shorts or joggers) so that you can move around freely.

When you book your appointment, you are holding space in our calendar that is no longer available for other clients who may be in urgent need of treatment. If cancellation is necessary, we require that you call at least 24 hours in advance to avoid being charged the full fee. This policy also applies to inclusive treatments from packages of care that will be either redeemed from a course or chargeable.

You can call us on 01494 629 599 and leave a message if the line is busy or you are calling outside opening hours. Alternatively, you can send an email to hello@walkthiswaypodiatry.co.uk. If you wish to change the date of your appointment, please contact us with plenty of notice so that we can offer you a new date and time that suits your needs.

At Walk This Way Podiatry, we take card payments only, and prepayment is necessary prior to any booking. We accept all major credit cards.

A finance plan is also available for specialist care only if you wish to split your payments into monthly installments. You can discuss this option with us after your first consultation.
