For people of all ages who experience foot pain, suffer injuries to their feet or whose mobility and general wellbeing is impacted by the condition of their feet, Walk This Way Healthcare can provide market leading services and solutions.

Walk This Way Healthcare was established by its Director, Margaret Trevillion, as a private, family company in 2012 and it is located in The Orchard Clinic, Amersham. Margaret is a highly qualified and well-regarded podiatrist with years of experience in the NHS and private sector and she has a real passion and aptitude for her profession, in addition to a strong drive to serve the community.

The mission of Walk This Way Healthcare is to enable its clients to flourish and attain their individual goals by providing world class services. To achieve that aim, Margaret has recruited a select number of professional podiatrists and support staff to join her team. The expertise and experience of the podiatrists, along with a continuous investment in the very latest research, training and technology, enables Walk This Way Healthcare to succeed in its mission to improve the lives of its clients. In addition, the team at Walk This Way Healthcare always aim to exceed client expectations and welcome customer feedback as a key contribution to its business development strategy.

As current clients will already know, the Walk This Way Healthcare clinic has been completely refurbished over the summer months and many customers have exclaimed ‘wow!’ when experiencing the transformation for the first time. Access to the clinic is provided for people who are disabled and there is onsite parking with additional parking available on Orchard Lane.
Most clients are referred to Walk This Way Healthcare by word of mouth from existing customers but many referrals to the clinic are made by consultants at local, private hospitals and a number of General Practitioners across the region.

For new clients, Walk This Way Healthcare follows a four step process at a first appointment: an initial assessment of one or more conditions in conjunction with a client’s overall state of health followed by a diagnosis then treatment and ongoing management, as required. The team of podiatrists typically deal with a range of common foot care problems such as corns, callus and verrucae as well as more specialist treatments for arthritis and diabetes sufferers; children’s foot care and growing pains; mobility issues; sports injuries; musculoskeletal problems and pain relief. At each appointment, the podiatrists also aim to provide advice and guidance to help clients to maintain the health of their feet.

Walk This Way Healthcare also offers shock wave therapy for specific conditions, SWIFT treatment or needling for verrucae and a treadmill for OptoGait video analysis of an individuals’ gait, (whilst walking or running), which generates real time data for the podiatrist to share and discuss with clients.

A range of products relating to conditions affecting the feet is available for sale at the Orchard Clinic and, with Christmas on the horizon, Walk This Way Healthcare will soon be stocking a wider range of gifts as well as gift vouchers for people to purchase for friends and family – or even themselves!

If your feet are not currently in need of attention, you may be interested to know that The Orchard Clinic is also renowned for offering a wide range of complementary healthcare services including: osteopathy, shiatsu, reiki, reflexology, craniosacral therapy, homeopathy, aromatherapy, acupuncture; remedial massage and specialist nutrition consultations.
